A few hours away from the 2019 NFL Draft and speculation of who will be this year's number one overall draft pick. Will the Cardinals abandon the Josh Rosen led ship and draft Kyler Murray or will they take the plethora of elite defensive talent this year's class boasts? What teams are going to trade up and snag a quarterback?
The 2019 NFL Draft is sure to be full of excitement and many unknowns leading to the first overall pick. In the words of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, "The Arizona Cardinals are now on the clock."
No. 1 Arizona Cardinals: QB Kyler Murray
Let's be honest, it has always been Kyler Murray. The recent reports by CBS Sports claiming the Cardinals are not taking Murray have been labeled a smoke screen in an attempt to force the 49ers to trade up for Nick Bosa.
Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury loves Murry. He has said it since day one. Murray fits Kingsbury's system considering he played under Kingsbury priot to transferring to Oklahoma. He can run, extend plays, and make the Cardinals a more explosive and versatile. Think Lamar Jackson but a better runner and a much more NFL ready passer.
There is not a doubt Kyler Murray to the Cardinals is a lock.
No. 2 San Francisco 49ers: DE Nick Bosa
The need is here for San Francisco. While receiver, offensive line, and secondary may be more drastic needs, there are only three elite prospects in this year's draft with Bosa being the overwhelming favorite. Pairing Bosa on a defensive line with pro bowler Deforest Buckner and newly acquired Dee Ford would push the 49ers near the top in regards to front sevens.
Drafting Bosa would also allow 2018 first-round pick, Solomon Thomas, to move to the inside, his natural position.
No. 3 New York Jets: DE Josh Allen
Anthony Barr changed his mind and decided to resign with the Minnesota Vikings leaving a whole on the outside for New York. CJ Mosely and Leonard Williams control the inside meaning, while not out of the question, Quinnen Williams will not find a home in New York.
Josh Allen fills the need for New York and brings with him 31.5 career college sacks and his pro player comparison... Anthony Barr.
*Possible Trade Candidates: Redskins and Bengals
No. 4 Oakland Raiders: DT Quinnen Williams
The Oakland Raiders need a lot of help on both sides of the ball and with their three first-round picks can improve most of them. Their first pick, arguably the most important, needs to fill the biggest hole on the team-pass rusher.
The Raiders traded Khalil Mack for a handful of picks, and three weeks later John Gruden complained the team did not have any pass rush. Williams fixes part of that problem. A beast on the inside, Williams tore up opposing defenses and created massive holes for linebackers and exterior linemen to get to the quarterback.
No. 5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: LB Devin White
Kwon Alexander is now in San Francisco and the Buccaneers desperately need a middle linebacker that can get to the quarterback, but also have the ability to cover sideline to sideline. Deone Buchanan, who came over from Arizona, has been a massive let down so far leading to Devin White being the clear option at the number five spot.
White's ability to drop back into coverage to help a weak secondary and aggressive nature make him perfect for a Todd Bowles' style of defense.

No. 6 New York Giants: QB Dwayne Haskins
The Giants had one of the more questionable offseasons in recent history. New general manager Dave Gettleman shipped "culture problem" Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns and later said quarterback Eli Manning "has a lot left in the tank."
It would make little sense for Gettleman and the Giants to draft Haskins if they think Manning has 'a lot left in the tank,' but former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer made the case for his former quarterback on FS1's The Herd.
"His football IQ is outstanding," said Meyer. "He has a great [pocket] presence, which is one of the most overlooked things in a quarterback."
Meyer also stated, "He's not ready yet, but he's almost there. Give him a year to sit, and he will be," when asked if Haskins was ready to be the face a franchise.
No. 7 Jacksonville Jaguars: TE T.J Hockenson
Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles did not target Zach Ertz nearly as much as he should have in Philadelphia. His favorite target was deep threat Alshon Jeffrey leading many to speculate the Jaguars will take DK Metcalf at the number seven pick or even Jawaan Taylor, who fills a massive hole at the right tackle position.
The issue is Jacksonville does not have a starting caliber tight end nor do they have any worth mentioning. Jacksonville needs offensive weapons almost as bad as any non-quarterback needy teams and the best one that fills the need and adds instant impact is Hockenson.
He has already been labeled as the next Travis Kelce by Chris Simms and with the ability to make people miss in open space, create separation from the line, and be one of the play action threats in college football Hockenson is the perfect match for Jacksonville run-heavy offense.
No. 8 Detroit Lions: DE Montez Sweat
A combine phenom, Sweat took the NFL by storm climbing up draft boards. He has the size at 6'6 and 260 pounds with quickness topping out at 4.41 during his 40-yard dash. Detroit also needs pass rushers. Despite Rashan Gary, Brian Burns and Ed Oliver all being realistic possibilities, not having Ziggy Ansah on the roster may make the Lions feel the need to take the biggest, fastest, and strongest prospect on the market.
No. 9 Buffalo Bills: OT Jawaan Taylor
Ed Oliver could easily be taken by Buffalo at the number nine spot as the team tries to replace Kyle Williams. Instead, the team should take a long look at Jawaan Taylor. The one thing every good team has is an offensive line that protects the quarterback.
New England and New Orleans is the best example of this and Arizona and Minnesota being the worst. The Bills have the potential to be one of the teams that jump up in the standings by three or four games this season with their improved offensive weapons. The one thing they have to do is protect Josh Allen.
Allen loves to use his legs, in fact, he was a better statistical runner than Lamar Jackson last season. Taylor can lead the strong side of the line for Allen giving him ample time to either evade the pocket or play his reads.
No. 10 Denver Broncos: LB Devin Bush
Another spot Ed Oliver can find himself being draft, the Denver Broncos need middle of the field help. Rather than Oliver, the help comes in the form of Devin Bush.
The Broncos cut Brandon Marshall following the season, and now need a new leader up the middle With Von Miller and Bradley Chubb locking down the outside, Bush can be the stopgap in the middle.
He can cover with the best of them, and while needing to improve his pass rushing skills, Bush can be the key to fortify the veteran Denver defense.
No. 11 Cincinnati Bengals: OL Jonah Williams
No. 12 Green Bay Packers: OLB Brian Burns
No. 13 Miami Dolphins: Rashan Gary
No. 14 Atlanta Falcons: DT Ed Oliver
No. 15 Washington Redskins: QB Drew Lock
The Washington Redskins need a quarterback. The unfortunate injury to Alex Smith, possibly ending his career, led the Redskins to trade of Case Keenum. While Keenum can provide some relief, he is not the answer long-term. Washington could choose to wait till next year to draft their next hopeful franchise quarterback, but if the words of Washington's Senior VP of Player Personnel Doug Williams is any indication, the team has made its mind.
"We were able to trade for Case, but that does not put us out of the realm of picking a quarterback if there is one there we like at 15."
No. 16 Carolina Panthers: DK Metcalf
Just like Montez Sweat, DK Metcalf set the NFL Combine on fire with measurables, including a reported 1.6% percent body fat (which has since been labeled unhealthy by medical professionals). Metcalf's stats at Ole Miss do not stand out among the rest of the draft prospects, but it is his potential and stature that has him high up on draft boards.
Metcalf did show sparks of a number one receiver with his ability to catch the deep ball and beat defenders down the field. Because of this, the Panthers, who lost their outside threat in Devin Funchess in the offseason, need to find Cam Newton a new weapon that can stretch the field.
No. 17 New York Giants: Andre Dillard
No. 18 Minnesota Vikings: OL Cody Ford
No. 19 Tennessee Titans: TE Noah Fant
No. 20 Pittsburgh Steelers: CB Byron Murphy
No. 21 Seattle Seahawks: WR Marquise Brown
Marquise "Hollywood" Brown is the best receiver in the 2019 NFL Draft with his ability to extend plays and be the "big play" receiver on any team. Most notably a slant and screen pass receiver, Brown needs a place that fits his style of play. That place is Seattle.
Aging and breaking down Doug Baldwin might find himself in early retirement at the end of the season. Newly extended Russell Wilson needs a new young receiver to throw too other than Tyler Locket.
His 17.6 yards per reception, 10 touchdowns in his junior season, and ability to improv is the perfect fit for Russell Wilson, who can make something out of nothing on any play.
No. 22 Baltimore Ravens: WR N'Keel Harry
No. 23 Houston Texans: OT Greg Little
No. 24 Oakland Raiders: DL Clelin Ferrell
No. 25 Philadelphia Eagles: CB DeAndre Baker
No. 26 Indianapolis Colts: DL Dexter Lawrence
No. 27 Oakland Raiders: RB Josh Jacobs
No. 28 Los Angeles Chargers: CB Rock Ya-Sin
No. 29 Kansas City Chiefs: CB Greedy Williams
The Seahawks need secondary help. Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor are all gone , offically ending the Legion of Boom era in Seattle. Now re-shapen, the Seahawks are relying on a young core of defensive backs led by Shaquill Griffin and Trey Flowers. Seattle still needs a potential number one cornerback. Williams provides them with that potential.
Some might say a pass rusher is more important after the team traded Frank Clark to Kansas City. Clelin Ferrel might be the safest bet for the team's 21st overall pick but the need to replace Doug Baldwin is too high to pass on Marquise Brown. With Ferrell off the board already, Greedy Williams is a must.
His length and skills give him the potential of a true number one cornerback, but he will need time to adjust. By years three, the Seahawks should see the final form of Greedy Williams.
