Top five 2020 NFL Games

The 2020 NFL season is officially in full swing after releasing the schedule for all 32 teams. Some teams have tougher schedules like the New England Patriots and New York Jets while some teams have easier schedules like the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.

There is at least one game that could be worth watching every week this season, but there are some games that have more attention than many others. Here are the top five most anticipated games of the 2020 season.

5. Week 5 – Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers

The one game that every Pennsylvanian hopes to be a Super Bowl preview every year returns to the Steel City for the first time since 2012 when the Steelers won 16-14. The Eagles crushed the Steelers in their last meeting at Philadelphia 34-3 in 2016.

It’s going to be a tough game for the Eagles since they have not won at Pittsburgh since winning 26-23 in overtime in 2000. Both teams will be hoping to see each other again in an All-PA Super Bowl.

4. Week 1 – Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

The first NFL game at SoFi Stadium will be a big Sunday night game with the Rams and Cowboys. Both teams had a solid draft and it will be interesting to see how the young guys perform in their first game, especially when their first game is also their first primetime game.

3. Week 15 – Cleveland Browns at New York Giants

What makes this a big game is the return to MetLife Stadium for Odell Beckham Jr. The former Giant star makes his return to his five-year home for the first time since 2018. Even though both these teams failed to make the playoffs for the last several years, it will be interesting to see how the fans welcome Beckham back.

2. Week 3 – Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens (MNF)

One of the best Monday night matchups of the 2020 season features two Super Bowl contenders in Kansas City and Baltimore. The Ravens, who were heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl last year, lost to Kansas City in three straight games.

After being stunned by Tennessee in the playoffs last year, the Ravens will look for a bigger season in 2020, especially after having a fantastic draft last month.

1. Week 1 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints

When Tom Brady signed with Tampa Bay, NFL fans were wondering when they will see them against Drew Brees and the Saints. Turns out they won’t have to wait long at all as the Bucs and Saints will kick off the season in a big way.

This will be the first time in NFL history that two quarterbacks in their 40s will face each other. Both teams will also face each other on Sunday Night Football on NBC in week nine. Expect some fireworks in both games starting at New Orleans in week one.
