The HORSE Challenge still practiced social distancing as each player shot from their private home courts. The game would be recorded with cellphones then sent to ESPN for altering a couple of days after the fact. We're all urgent for sports, so the thought seemed cool to many players and fans. Easter Sunday is when the competition was aired nationwide on ESPN. The HORSE Challenge was a gigantic setback with the absurdly poor video quality. The initial 30 or more minutes were Trae Young and Chauncey Billups in a clash of pixelated video. While many of the viewers seemed to be excited about the competition, that quickly changed one viewer saw the poor quality of the player's videos. The game resulted in the epic battle between NBA All-Star Chris Paul and WNBA’s Allie Quigley of The Chicago Sky. The game stayed closed for most of the contest until Allie hit a routine free throw shot that CP3 failed to follow, crowning her the HORSE competition champion.

SYN Tv host and reporter Chris Williamson took to twitter to illustrate his frustration with the game.

Most fans would rather have wanted to be watching the NBA's regular season, but for now this will have to be the entertainment for many. It was nice to see the NBA wanting to make an effort to bring sports back to the viewer's screen someway and somehow, but this particular competition wasn’t pleasing to watch. The biggest success the HORSE Challenge brought was State Farm’s donation to give more than $200,000 on behalf of the players to aid coronavirus charities.
