With the NBA season at a complete standstill due to the COVID-19 outbreak, players are forced to stop playing the game they love. With the uncertainty of when or if the season will pick up where it left off, MVP talks have been on a lot of people's minds.

Many may argue that LeBron James should take home the MVP title due to the amazing turn around the Los Angeles Lakers have made this season. With the Lakers sitting at No.1 in the Western Conference, James has averaged 25.7ppg, 7.9 rebounds, and 10.6 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo, better known as The Greek Freak, has put up incredible numbers during the 2019-2020 season.

Averaging 29.6 points per game and 13.7 rebounds, the Milwaukee Bucks star power forward deserves the title for Most Valuable Player. His field goal percentage is ranked the highest at .547, Giannis averages 16 rebounds per 36 minutes a game.

For the second straight season, Giannis has led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA seasons. Securing wins against The Houston Rockets, LA Lakers, and twice against the Toronto Raptors and LA Clippers. In the 65 games the Bucks have played, their record is an impressive 53-12. While other teams have the luxury of having a big 2 or big 3, Giannis does not have the dynamic duo other teams have.

The Lakers have LeBron and Davis, Rockets have Harden and Westbrook, while the Bucks second-leading scorer is Khris Middleton who averages 21.1 ppg. Giannis does not have that star point guard or shooting guard with him on the court as other MVP runner ups do. Middleton has never been on an All-NBA team, while all of the other players listed above have. This gives more compelling evidence as to why the Greek Freak should be named MVP for the second year in a row.
